Simply Education is recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in primary and/or secondary schools in Wisbech. This role is ideal for a qualified HLTA or an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in their education career.

The Role

  • Deliver learning activities to individuals, small groups, and whole classes under the direction of teaching staff
  • Provide cover for classes during short-term teacher absences where required
  • Support the planning, delivery, and assessment of lessons
  • Assist in raising pupil attainment and engagement
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs
  • Contribute to the school\’s wider pastoral and academic aims

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • HLTA status or a Level 4 qualification (or above) in Supporting Teaching and Learning
  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within a school setting
  • Experience supporting learning across the curriculum
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible, proactive, and professional approach
