About the Role :
As a Teaching Assistant in an SEMH provision, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. Your main responsibilities will include :
- Assisting with classroom activities and educational programs.
- Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate :

- Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.
- A high level of resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
