EYFS Specialist - Abingdon Simply Education is delighted to be working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Didcot that is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Specialist to join their Early Years team. This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing, play-based environment and is eager to help young children take their first steps in education. The school is offering flexible working arrangements, with both part-time (as little as 0.2) and full-time contracts available depending on your availability. What We\'re Looking For: To be successful in this role, you will need to: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a PGCE, GTP, or Bachelor of Education, or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a special interest in Early Years. Have experience teaching within the EYFS framework, ideally in Nursery or Reception. Be confident in planning, delivering, and assessing child-led and adult-led activities in line with EYFS guidelines. Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive emotionally and academically. Demonstrate strong communication skills, effective behaviour management, and a warm, caring approach. Be enthusiastic about supporting young children\'s social, emotional, and educational development. Please note: All candidates will be required to provide two years of references and undergo an enhanced DBS check. The role is subject to satisfactory background screening.
