Early Years Teaching Assistant Wanted Simply Education is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our Primary Schools we have working with us. This role involves assisting in the development and learning of young children, helping them reach their full potential through play-based activities and holistic development. Candidates should have experience in early childhood education, knowledge of the EYFS framework, and strong communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: – Assist in planning and implementing play-based learning activities. – Support children in reaching developmental milestones. – Encourage social-emotional development and positive interactions among children. – Help develop children\’s fine motor skills and gross motor skills through engaging activities. – Support language acquisition and early literacy development. – Facilitate numeracy skills through age-appropriate activities. – Engage children in sensory play and creative play. – Supervise outdoor learning activities ensuring a safe learning environment. – Foster phonemic awareness and school readiness. – Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs in an inclusive education setting. – Collaborate with teachers and parents to support child-centered approaches and holistic development. – Monitor and record children\’s progress through observation and assessment. – Ensure routine and structure are maintained in the classroom. – Participate in early intervention strategies as needed. – Promote resilience building and positive reinforcement. – Uphold the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and assist with the transition to school.
