Simply Education is currently working with a new SEMH Secondary School in Accrington that supports young people all key stages aged 7-16 years with social and emotional difficulties, anxiety disorders and mental health needs. They are looking for an English Teacher to start in September who can educate pupils with additional needs associated with as social and emotional and mental health (SEMH).

Responsibilities:

Planning and delivering engaging English literature and language lessons

Setting assignments to develop students\’ writing abilities

Ability to track progress and tailor lessons to students\’ needs

Providing feedback on work to improve students\’ skills

Create a supportive English classroom environment

Requirements:

Has QTS and experience teaching English to Students

Is passionate about English literature and language

Has excellent classroom management and behaviour skills

Can differentiate lessons based on students\’ needs
