Simply Education are proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and specialist school in Surrey, supporting pupils aged 6-11 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and communication needs. We're looking for passionate, resilient, and caring Classroom Assistants to join their dedicated team. This is more than a job, it's an opportunity to change lives every single day.

While the school is primary-based, many students are working around 2+ years below their chronological age, making your support absolutely vital to their progress.

Hours (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)

  • Start: 8:15am daily
  • Finish Mon / Wed / Thurs: 4:45pm
  • Tuesday: 5:00pm
  • Friday: 4:00pm

Your role will include:

  • Supporting high-quality teaching and learning
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Encouraging independence and personal development
  • Supporting students' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development
  • Adapting to changing needs to ensure the smooth running of the school
  • Occasionally supporting with physical intervention (full training provided)

The role will require:

  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent)
  • A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a team-focused mindset
