We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join one of our friendly and supportive nursery teams in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and wants to work in a setting where staff are truly valued. You will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development, helping them feel safe, confident and excited to learn each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities based on children's interests
- Observe, assess and record children's progress using learning journeys
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Ensure children's safety, wellbeing and safeguarding at all times
- Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating learning environment
- Work effectively as part of a supportive team
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or above)
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A warm, caring and patient nature
