The predicted salary is between 12000 - 18000 £ per year.

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN TA to support a child with additional needs (ASD, speech delay, or sensory needs). You'll assist with tailored activities and help build routine and communication skills. This is a part time position, starting as soon as possible and lasting for a year in the first instance.

About the Nursery

Our inclusive nursery offers specialist provision for children with SEND. We provide a supportive and nurturing environment with small-group and 1:1 support led by an experienced SENCo.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support
  • Implement EHCP and therapy goals
  • Use visual aids and SEN strategies (PECS, Makaton)
  • Work closely with the SENCo and parents

Prerequisites

  • Experience working with SEND children
  • Knowledge of EYFS and SEN strategies
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Enhanced DBS check required

All candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Teams call.
