Are you passionate about inspiring young people and making a real difference in the classroom? We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join our team and support pupils in reaching their full potential around Northamptonshire. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, experienced teaching assistants, cover supervisors, or individuals with relevant experience who are looking to develop a career in education.
As an Unqualified Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school's curriculum (where appropriate).
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Manage classroom behaviour to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and school events.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting.
- Is passionate about education and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
- Is organised, reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has strong classroom management skills or is willing to develop them.
- Holds a degree or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential depending on experience).
