The Role:

  • Support children in their learning through engaging, play-based and structured activities.
  • Deliver learning activities to individuals and small groups.
  • Encourage children's communication, language, social, and emotional development.
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support children with varying learning needs, including those with SEND.
  • Assist with observations, assessments, and recording children's progress.
  • Promote positive behaviour and independence.
  • Prepare learning resources and maintain an organised classroom.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • Support children's wellbeing and ensure safeguarding procedures are always followed.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

  • Experience working with children within an Early Years or school setting.
  • A sound understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework.
  • A nurturing and patient approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to inspire confidence and encourage learning through play.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to use their initiative.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

What You'll Gain:

  • Competitive daily pay.
  • A welcoming and supportive school environment.
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development.
