We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join an amazing 3 form entry primary school in Chelmsford. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a welcoming and supportive school community that is committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for all pupils.
This full-time role requires a flexible and adaptable teaching assistant who is confident supporting pupils across all key stages, from EYFS through to Year 6. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and leadership staff to provide high-quality support across the school.

The Role
- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Leading phonics interventions and phonics sessions within the lower key stages
- Supporting SATs booster sessions and targeted interventions in upper key stages
- Providing one-to-one and small group support where required
- Assisting with classroom preparation and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with differing learning needs and abilities
- Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
- Contributing to high standards of education and training throughout the school
Requirements
- Be adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic
- Have experience working within a primary school setting
- Hold a DBS on the Update Service
- Be safeguarding trained
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be committed to supporting high-quality education and training
