We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming specialist education setting in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with pupils to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
About the Role
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with a range of special educational needs.
- Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning and support strategies.
- Encourage pupils' confidence, independence and social development.
- Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.

Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people in an education, care or support setting.
- Previous experience within an SEN school is preferred but not essential.
- A patient, resilient and compassionate approach.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to provide suitable references covering recent employment.
