Simply Education is looking for a passionate and innovative Economics and Business Studies Teacher with excellent subject knowledge to join our team in Kettering. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Economics and Business department. This role offers the opportunity to teach one of the most popular option subjects at both KS4 and KS5 levels, with Economics A Level being one of the largest A Level subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Economics and Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Lead the Economics and Business department strategically and operationally.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Coordinate enrichment activities, including a Young Enterprise group.
- Establish links with external agencies and visiting speakers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Business Studies Teacher.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
- All candidates are required to complete a Safeguarding course, or provide a certificate dated within the last three years. All candidates will have commitment to and responsibility for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people to the relevant extent of the role.
