Simply Education is working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Oxford, to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role, 5 days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is confident leading learning, supporting class teachers, and making a positive impact on pupils' progress.

The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
- Work with individuals and small groups to raise attainment
- Assist with planning, preparation and assessment
- Promote positive behaviour and an inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and senior staff to support pupil progress
Requirements
To be considered, you will need:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in a UK primary school
- Confidence covering classes and leading learning
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A positive, proactive and flexible approach
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
