While the school is primary-based, many students are working around 2+ years below their chronological age, making your support absolutely vital to their progress.
Hours (Full-Time, 40 hrs/week)
- Start: 8:15am daily
- Finish Mon / Wed / Thurs: 4:45pm
- Tuesday: 5:00pm
- Friday: 4:00pm
Your role will include:
- Supporting high-quality teaching and learning
- Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils
- Encouraging independence and personal development
- Supporting students' cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development
- Adapting to changing needs to ensure the smooth running of the school
- Occasionally supporting with physical intervention (full training provided)
The role will require:
- GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent)
- A warm, patient, and nurturing approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Adaptability, resilience, and a team-focused mindset
