We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in a mainstream primary school in Sleaford. This is a long‑term, part‑time role working 5 mornings per week, providing consistent 1:1 support within a classroom setting.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs within a mainstream classroom
- Support learning, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Support positive behaviour and consistent routines
- Adapt activities to support individual learning needs
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children
- SEN or 1:1 support experience (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication skills and patience
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
