We are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in a mainstream primary school in Sleaford. This is a long‑term, part‑time role working 5 mornings per week, providing consistent 1:1 support within a classroom setting.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs within a mainstream classroom
  • Support learning, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
  • Support positive behaviour and consistent routines
  • Adapt activities to support individual learning needs

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children
  • SEN or 1:1 support experience (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and patience
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
