SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Simply Education are proud to be working in partnership with a number of Primary Schools across Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering and Rushden. We are seeking Teaching Assistants for a number of roles including SEND TA’s for 1:1 support. This is to start as soon as possible with the high possibility of roles continuing into September 2024.

We are seeking TA’s who have experience working with SEND pupils and on a 1:1 basis. You will provide care, support and consistency for the students in a primary environment. The children you will be working with will require patience and support to enable them to access the work planned out by the teacher using a variety of differentiated support and resources.

Days are usually 8:30-3:30 but can sometimes be 8-4 to cater for specific individuals needs.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a positive attitude and approach towards children and learning.

A great work ethic.

A genuine passion for education.

6+ months experience would be ideal however any experience will be considered.

An understanding of SEND
