Advocacy First, a small, successful and highly regarded health charity based in Bromley, is looking for a new trustee. Advocacy First is funded to work in local hospitals, supporting patients and hoping to get them out of hospital in line with their wishes. Our role is to ensure that the patient’s voice and wishes are heard, their issues resolved, and needs met, so that they can be discharged to where they want after their treatment. Advocacy First has served people in Bromley for over 35 years.
We are a hands-on board and will get involved in projects, help raise funds and contribute to quarterly board meetings. Our ideal trustee will have experience in fundraising. Beyond attending meetings, your role will include finding creative ways to increase the charity’s income.
