Advocacy First, a small, successful and highly regarded health charity based in Bromley, is looking for a new trustee. Advocacy First is funded to work in local hospitals, supporting patients and hoping to get them out of hospital in line with their wishes. Our role is to ensure that the patient's voice and wishes are heard, their issues resolved, and needs met, so that they can be discharged to where they want after their treatment. Advocacy First has served people in Bromley for over 35 years.
We are a hands-on board and are who will get involved in projects, help us raise funds and contribute to quarterly board meetings. Our ideal trustee will have experience in fundraising. Beyond attending meetings, your role will include finding creative ways to increase the charity's income.
You will join a charity that helps approximately 400 people every year to get their wishes heard and addressed. You will join a small, passionate team. Everything you do will make a difference to people.
Time Commitment: Quarterly 2 hour meetings, Ad hoc projects
Driving Licence & Vehicle Required: Driving licence and vehicle required
Travel Expenses: Travel expenses will be covered
Number of volunteers required: 1
