We are working with a British born and premium sports brand, known all over for their quality and community. With ambitious plans to continuously evolve their digital presence and tech stack, two roles have opened in their cloud engineering team. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on building scalable, cloud‑native applications in TypeScript on their platform built on AWS. You’ll work collaboratively with wider business teams to shape the architecture, develop platform capabilities, and ensure the systems are robust, secure, and scalable. The role is remote (UK) although you must be able to get to London when required.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain event‑driven, cloud‑native services using AWS and TypeScript
  • Collaborate with other engineers to design scalable, secure, and well‑documented APIs and services
  • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews
  • Work closely with DevOps and product teams to shape features and deliver solutions that meet business needs
  • Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving service performance and reliability

Qualifications / Skills

  • Good working knowledge of AWS services, particularly Lambda, EventBridge, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway
  • Familiarity with serverless patterns and event‑driven architecture
