Senior UX Engineer/Front-End Engineer

You will be working as part of our Front End Tooling team here at Simply Business, contributing to the smooth running of our business and improving our insurance app through the development and deployment of reusable frontend components. Our Frontend Tech stack is built with Typescript and React. Our Backend Tech stack is built with Ruby on Rails, MongoDB and hosted on AWS.

As one of our Senior Frontend Engineers you’ll:

• Work with cross functional collaborative teams, helping to clarify requirements at the onset of projects and suggesting different and relevant technical approaches.
• Champion Agile processes across the team.
• Have expertise in HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript, e.g. Strong programming skills with React and TypeScript.
• Take a proactive approach when suggesting new tools, processes and technologies – anything which will help us continually improve!
• Have the ability to own small sub projects from ideation to delivery into our customers' hands.
