As one of our Employee Relations, Policy & Compliance Managers, you'll:
- Design living policies that translate complex UK employment law into plain English, ensuring they are relatable and easy for everyone to follow.
- Lead on sensitive ER issues, providing a steady hand and a fair perspective during complex disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, turning legislative requirements into actionable, common-sense advice that supports our business goals.
- Empower our managers by developing and delivering training that gives them the confidence to handle ER matters proactively.
- Manage regulatory oversight, acting as a key point of contact for SM&CR to ensure fitness and propriety are woven into our ER processes.
- Drive data-led prevention, spotting trends to resolve conflict early and championing mediation as a first-line resolution.
We are looking for someone who is:
- An expert in UK employment law with deep, practical experience navigating ACAS best practices and complex case management.
- Experienced in regulated environments, understanding the specific intersection of HR and compliance within financial services or insurance.
- A relatable communicator who can deliver tough news with empathy and influence stakeholders without relying on jargon.
- A natural problem-solver who prioritises fair resolution over red tape and has a keen interest in formal mediation.
- Highly discreet, with the integrity to handle sensitive regulatory information and data with absolute professionalism.
- Collaborative and spirited, unafraid to challenge the status quo to ensure our people are supported during organizational shifts.
We encourage people of all different backgrounds and identities to apply. We are committed to maintaining an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you and do your very best work.
