If spreadsheets give you a thrill, tax returns spark joy, and you’ve got a knack for spotting a decimal out of place, keep reading. You’re about to be very popular. What You’ll Be Doing (Besides Being a Legend) Indirect Tax – Your Main Stage Filing VAT returns like a pro across the UK and EMEA (that’s a lot of acronyms and even more responsibility). Navigating the likes of EC Sales Lists, Intrastat returns, and Spain’s SII (¡olé!). Keeping everything in sync with the general ledger, like a beautifully choreographed dance. Being best friends with consultants, Accounts Payable, and even HMRC (well… sort of). Keeping a VAT calendar that’s more organised than your mum’s Christmas rota. Answering VAT queries from across the business like the wise oracle you are. Direct Tax – Your Supporting Act Getting stuck into UK QIPs (quarterly instalment payments, for those who …
