What You’ll Be Doing
This role requires responsibility for design and development of software systems, primarily using Microsoft’s software development platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, .NET framework, C#, and JavaScript. Simplify develops and maintains a diverse range of bespoke software systems and third‑party integrations to provide solutions for internal and external users, including customers from the general public and clients in small and large organisations. The successful candidate will have a broad development background; given our broad client base, an interest and willingness to learn and work with varied technology is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Dynamics 365 applications, configure workflows, and integrate external systems to ensure seamless operation and data flow across platforms.
- Be proactive in learning, understanding, and sharing knowledge among the software development team, including new technologies and best practices aimed at improving software quality and providing improvements to the software development lifecycle.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Dynamics 365 applications, addressing issues users may encounter and implementing updates as necessary.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the business’s needs and goals in order to identify areas for improvement.

Core Requirements
- Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 functional and technical experience across applications such as Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, or Project Operations.
- Significant experience in .NET framework, C#, and client‑side programming languages (e.g., Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery, TypeScript).
- Proficiency in developing plug‑in and workflow assemblies.
- Experience developing .NET web services and Web API applications.
- Relevant Dynamics 365/Power Platform/AI related certifications.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure PaaS components – Logic Apps, ADF, Service Bus, Azure Functions.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Aptitude for eliciting requirements and user stories from non‑development colleagues.
- Ability to transform requirements into a technical plan for implementation.
- Customer‑focused attitude.
- Mentoring and assisting other team members.
- Proactive in learning new technologies and using them effectively.
- Developer documentation writing.
While not essential, we are especially keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate experience in Blazor, Azure DevOps, and/or Microsoft SQL.
