About The Role

As a Technical Specialist Team Manager, you’ll be a key driver in delivering an industry-leading conveyancing service within a high-volume residential environment. You will manage a technically skilled team focused on resolving complex conveyancing matters while driving performance, reducing time to completion, and continually improving quality. You’ll lead with confidence, coaching and developing your team, and embrace innovative technologies – including AI and automation – to keep Simplify at the forefront of conveyancing delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Day-to-day management of your team, including performance reviews, coaching, capacity planning, and dealing with staff issues.
  • Set and monitor team KPIs in line with business targets (time to exchange, completions, quality and commercial decision-making).
  • Identify development needs and foster a high-performance, solution-focused team culture.
  • Use performance data and insights to inform decision-making and drive continual improvement.
  • Promote collaboration across departments and contribute to wider strategic projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion change, embrace technology, and enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • People management experience within legal, conveyancing or professional services.
  • Strong technical conveyancing knowledge with a commercially aware mindset.
  • Confident in using IT and data to manage performance (Excel, Teams, MI tools).
  • Effective leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
