Join Simplify as a Technical Specialist Trainer. Are you a seasoned Conveyancing expert with a passion for developing others? Do you thrive on solving complex legal challenges while inspiring growth and excellence in others? At Simplify, we’re looking for a Technical Specialist Trainer to be at the heart of our Legal Technical Services team — shaping the future of conveyancing through expert-led learning and development.

About the Role

As a key member of our Legal Technical Specialist Department, you’ll lead the design and delivery of an engaging, commercially focused training programme. Your mission? Empower our people with the technical knowledge, critical thinking, and confidence to tackle the most complex conveyancing scenarios — including leasehold, new builds, Deeds of Variation, BSA, and more.

You’ll work closely with Legal Underwriters, Managers, and other stakeholders to proactively identify skills gaps, spot trends, and build learning solutions that keep pace with legislation, policy, and technology (including AI and automation).

What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver training that enhances legal technical knowledge across all tenure types and case classifications.
  • Create a learning culture rooted in proactivity, commercial thinking, and a risk-based approach.
  • Develop and maintain a robust, forward-thinking training programme that supports the department’s strategic goals.
  • Support learners at every level, using blended learning, coaching, mentoring, and feedback to elevate performance.
  • Embrace and implement technological innovation, including Simplify’s Learning Management System.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and impact of all learning interventions.
  • Use data and learner feedback to continually refine training content and delivery.
  • Deputise for Team Managers when required and support cross-functional project work within the People Development team.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years’ conveyancing experience with expertise across complex legal scenarios.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess and manage legal risk.
  • A passion for learning and development, with proven experience or interest in training delivery.
  • Ability to design, deliver, and evaluate high-impact training in classroom and virtual settings.
  • Confidence using learning technologies, including authoring tools and LMS platforms.
  • Effective communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, adaptable attitude and a drive to help others succeed.
  • Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required to support training needs.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary with a fantastic bonus structure
  • Hybrid/home working set up
  • 25 Days Holiday (plus 8 Public Holidays)
  • Pension Scheme & Life Assurance
  • Option to Buy/Sell Holiday
  • Enhanced Maternity, Paternity & Adoption Pay
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Free Conveyancing Services
  • Retail Discounts, plus much more!
