THE JOB

Working within the My Home Move Conveyancing Consumer Online team, you will own and coordinate the digital marketing plan, driving performance against forecasted sales and margin targets. Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Digital Marketing Manager sits within the My Home Move Conveyancing (MHMC) Consumer Online team, and will own the digital marketing plan for the My Home Move Conveyancing website, driving digital marketing performance to achieve and exceed forecasted sales and margin targets.

Working alongside the MHMC Web Manager, you will lead activity across content marketing, digital PR, SEO/GEO, email marketing, social media and paid media. You will manage and develop a team of three digital marketing specialists, while coordinating the external agencies that support the business across its key digital channels. Approximately 80% of your time will be focused on leadership and oversight of agencies and specialists, with around 20% spent on content and campaign creation. You will bring broad digital marketing experience, with strong expertise in one or more key disciplines. You will use this knowledge to set direction, create effective channel plans and ensure internal specialists and external agencies are working together to deliver measurable commercial results. The role also includes responsibility for digital marketing budgets of approximately £200,000 per year, including planning activity, monitoring performance and tracking ROI and ROAS. This is a hybrid position requiring attendance at our Leicester office one to two days per week in line with business needs.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • You will develop and coordinate an integrated digital marketing strategy across social media, content and SEO/GEO, working with internal specialists and external agencies to create effective channel plans.
  • You will manage and develop a team of three digital marketing specialists, setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback and supporting their professional development.
  • You will manage and coordinate the external agencies supporting MHMC across SEO/GEO, digital PR, paid media, email delivery and content personalisation.
  • Set clear briefs, review agency output and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Own and maintain the brand guidelines for the MHMC business.
  • Build innovative digital marketing content and campaigns that distinguish MHMC within the online conveyancing market.
  • Work with our search marketing agency to achieve paid-media lead volumes in line with agreed financial KPIs.
  • Work with the Web Manager and digital agencies to ensure website content and design are customer-friendly and optimised for search.
  • Develop digital PR campaigns that raise the brand profile and generate high-quality backlinks.
  • Work with the Data Analytics Manager to understand customer behaviour and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance.
  • Identify new digital marketing opportunities and prepare costed business cases where appropriate.
  • Manage digital marketing plans and budgets, set goals and measure and report on ROI and ROAS.

REQUIREMENTS

You will have demonstrable experience delivering integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, such as social media, web, email, content and SEO. You will have experience developing and implementing digital marketing plans or channel roadmaps, particularly across content, social media or SEO. You do not need to be a specialist in every channel, but you should have strong expertise in one or more key digital marketing disciplines and sufficient breadth to lead specialists and challenge external agencies effectively. You will have strong agency-management experience, including setting clear briefs, reviewing creative and technical output, monitoring performance and holding suppliers accountable for agreed KPIs.

You will also bring:

  • Experience managing, supervising or developing colleagues, with the ability to set objectives and support individual performance.
  • An understanding of SEO/GEO and how search and content strategies are evolving in response to AI-powered search and large language models (LLMs).
  • The ability to interpret customer insights and performance analytics for content and campaigns.
  • Experience using Google Analytics/GA4.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
  • A pragmatic and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, Google Docs and relevant digital marketing tools.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.

Knowledge of web publishing, eCRM platforms such as DotDigital, Photoshop or Adobe Creative Cloud would be advantageous. Previous experience within the legal, financial services or retail sectors would be beneficial although not at all essential.
