The company operates the Lighting Supermarket brand via its own websites and key online marketplaces, and is the parent company of Lighting For Gardens Ltd.
Role Description
We’re looking for a results-driven E-Commerce Manager to lead and optimise our digital channels across both businesses. This is a hands-on, high-impact role offering real autonomy—ideal for someone eager to shape the future of our online growth.
- Develop the growth and success of the e-commerce function across all online channels.
- Collaborate with directors to define and implement marketing and digital growth strategies.
- Maintain, improve, and update company websites (Magento 2), ensuring content is accurate, SEO-optimised, and visually engaging.
- Add new products to websites and marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, OnBuy), including uploading SEO-rich descriptions and professional imagery.
- Develop and manage a competitive keyword strategy to enhance organic visibility.
- Apply SEO techniques and monitor Google rankings and search performance.
- Oversee a small operations team handling product uploads, order processing, returns, and customer feedback.
- Handle customer queries across web channel listings and monitor feedback
- Lead PPC campaigns (Amazon Ads, Google Ads) and continuously optimise for maximum ROAS.
- Monitor channel integration with the companies’ ERP system, escalating technical issues to appropriate software providers.
- Coordinate seasonal promotions, align content across marketplaces, and develop cross-channel strategies.
- Liaise with external e-commerce platform providers to develop content, resolve issues, and support promotional planning.
- Produce and analyse reports on performance, sales, and direct costs of e-commerce channels.
- Research competitors and digital trends, using insights to enhance campaigns and offers.
- Support marketing initiatives like newsletters, blogs, and social media activity, where appropriate.
- Magento 2 website and product management
- Reviews.IO or similar review/reputation platforms
- Amazon Brand Registry and PPC campaign management
- SEO and keyword optimisation best practices
- Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amazon Business Reports)
- Experience with email marketing platforms (desirable, not essential)
- Experience with social media management (desirable, not essential)
