simpler Law is one of the UK’s largest law firms specialising in end‑of‑life planning. With over 30 years of experience in customer service, we pride ourselves on strong values, high standards of customer service, and a 5‑star Trustpilot rating.

No legal experience necessary – full training is provided. The Sales Specialist will work in our contact centre on Doddington Road, Lincoln. The role is to oversee all customer service departments, ensuring existing and new customers receive outstanding support and continuity throughout their relationship with the business.

Responsibilities

  • Reliable customer service & support
  • Lead day‑to‑day customer services operations, ensuring timely and effective responses to enquiries, orders and issues
  • Commit to key KPIs and perform to meet them
  • Manage the customer services team and provide guidance where needed
  • Provide training and performance oversight to the customer services team
  • Handle escalated customer complaints/concerns with professionalism and a problem‑solving focus
  • Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers by regularly checking in and identifying opportunities
  • Ensure documents are processed within a timely manner
  • Use CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service, account management or customer success
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Sales & KPI‑driven
  • Proactive and solutions‑focused approach to problem solving
  • Strong organisational skills / attention to detail
  • Experience using CRM systems, order management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Customer‑centric mindset with a genuine desire to help
  • Calm under pressure and able to maintain professionalism in challenging situations
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently
  • Desire to motivate and push people to work to their best ability without applying a stressful level of pressure

Full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (typically) 9‑5:30pm
