About the Role
We are seeking a Legal Engineer to support the technical implementation of our AI-powered contract solutions, including building AI playbooks with our in-house and law firm customers. This role combines legal expertise, process design, and technology deployment. You will work closely with in-house legal teams, law firms, and our internal product teams to design and implement AI-powered solutions that transform the way contracts are reviewed, drafted, and negotiated. Customer Engagement & Advisory
- Lead discovery sessions to understand customer negotiation positions, workflow requirements, and overall automation goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor, aligning our AI solutions with legal and business objectives.
- Translate legal standards into structured AI playbooks for contract review and escalation.
AI Playbook Design & Implementation
- Design and implement AI-powered contract playbooks, embedding decision logic and fallback positions.
- Build and maintain clause libraries, templates, and playbook structures inside the AI Repository.
- Customize AI playbooks to reflect client policies and negotiation strategies.
Solution Configuration & Integration
- Configure our AI products for client-specific workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering to optimize features and integrations based on client feedback.
- Ensure seamless adoption across legal, procurement, and business operations.
Deployment & Change Management
- Lead clients through the full deployment lifecycle, from pilot to go-live.
- Deliver training, workshops, and user guides to drive adoption.
- Support organizational change as teams embrace AI-driven contracting.
Quality Assurance & Optimization
- Validate AI outputs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Monitor usage analytics and refine playbooks based on performance data.
- Establish governance practices for version control and audit readiness.
Thought Leadership & Pre-Sales Support
- Share best practices on AI playbook design with clients and internal teams.
- Assist with demos and scoping during the pre-sales process.
- Stay ahead of legal tech trends to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
What We’re Looking For
- Background in law, legal operations, or contract management (in-house or law firm experience preferred).
- Experience with legal technology, contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, or AI solutions.
- Strong ability to translate legal expertise into structured processes and playbooks.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
