Our electrical work is mostly repairs, replacements and testing in occupied homes. Consumer units, sockets, lighting, faults that somebody else could not find.
You hold your own qualifications and issue your own certificates. We give you the job, the access and the paperwork route.
What the work is
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in occupied properties.
- Replace consumer units, accessories and lighting to current regulations.
- Issue the correct certificate for the work you have done.
- Tell us straight when a job needs more than was reported.
What we need from you
- A recognised electrical qualification, your own certification route and your own test equipment.
- Public liability insurance, or willing to get it before your first job.
- The right to work in the UK, and registered as self-employed (CIS where the work is construction).
- Your own tools and your own transport.
- A phone you can take photos on. Every job is signed off with pictures.
Paid per job. The price is agreed with you before the work starts, and it does not change afterwards.
