We are looking to hire an exceptional graduate or Junior Interior Designer with 1-2 years experience to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, a keen eye for detail, and an eagerness to learn and grow within their position. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of industry experience to work on a wide range of projects with the hospitality & leisure sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations.
- Create detailed space plans, colour visuals, and technical drawings using Vectorworks, Creative Suite, and other design software.
- Collaborate with senior designers & our project team to bring design concepts to life.
- Source and specify materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes in line with client requirements and budget constraints.
- Help prepare and manage project documentation, including specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Attend client meetings and site visits to support senior designers and ensure the project is progressing according to plan.
- Support the design team with any administrative or project-related tasks.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. An exceptional graduate will be considered.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in interior design (optional).
- Proficiency in Vectorworks, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) & Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- A portfolio that showcases a range of design skills and project types.
