Our client based in Radstock are seeking a skilled Labourer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks across different projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions closely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
  • Assist in mechanical installation works
  • Perform general site maintenance and clean-up duties
  • Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time
  • Report any issues or hazards to the supervisor promptly
  • Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Experience in mechanical installation works
  • Understanding of treatment works process - desirable
  • Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
  • A valid driver’s licence - essential
  • CSCS card - essential
  • City and Guilds medium risk confined space certificate - desirable
