Simple Recruitment are looking for a Finance Administrator for our client based in the Castle Cary area to join their team on a permanent basis. The Job This is a proactive role which involves the effective running of the parent/pupil ledger and work closely with the Finance Assistant to ensure that the nominal ledger is operated accurately. Key Responsibilities: * To maintain remissions Schedule * To maintain the parent and pupil details and files. * To administer the pupil recharges. * To administer pupil insurances. * To produce termly school fee invoices. * To input all parent ledger receipts. * To complete the month-end procedures. * Liaise with Parents when queries arise. * To administer the nursery grant scheme and other similar systems. * To administer monthly payment scheme for parents. * To maintain credit control, sending statements and emails- including weekly meetings with Bursar/Finance Bursar. * To liaise with the Registrars regarding Pupil numbers * To administer Petty Cash/ Credit Cards * Post all cash receipts and take monies to the bank when necessary. Other * To comply with the Financial Regulations and Procedures Manual. * To file all parent/pupil and nominal ledger related information and assist with any other clerical duties as required. * To assist and be able to substitute for the other members of the finance and reception staff. * To archive parent, pupil and nominal ledger files as appropriate. * To comply with the GDPR/ Data Protection Act.
