About the Role
We’re recruiting experienced LGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Southampton, delivering home improvement products on behalf of one of the UK’s leading DIY retailers. Working as part of a two-person delivery crew, you’ll ensure customers receive their orders safely, on time, and with exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive safely and professionally, meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
- Deliver products to customers’ rooms of choice, handling goods carefully and efficiently.
- Build rapport with customers, providing a friendly and professional service at every delivery.
- Complete all paperwork and digital records accurately in line with company and legal requirements.
- Carry out daily vehicle and safety checks, reporting any issues immediately.
- Maintain full compliance with driver hours, working time regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid LGV Class C Licence (Category C).
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence.
- Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of a two-person team.
- Multi-drop and home delivery experience desirable.
