Pharmacist (Part-Time, – Glasgow)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented GPhC‑registered Pharmacist to join Simple Online Healthcare’s Glasgow dispensing hub. This part‑time role provides a unique opportunity to deliver safe, high‑quality care in a fast‑paced digital pharmacy setting.

📍 Location: Glasgow dispensing hub
🗓 Working hours: Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Salary: £17,250 – £18,375 per annum, depending on experience

About The Role

As a Pharmacist at Simple Online Healthcare, you will help ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient supply of medicines to patients using our digital services, working closely with clinical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all prescriptions are clinically appropriate, accurately dispensed, and meet internal safety and legal requirements.
  • Conduct telephone or video consultations to verify patient information and support clinical team decision‑making.
  • Adhere to GPhC standards, SOPs, and stay up‑to‑date with pharmacy law and best practice.
  • Collaborate with dispensers, packers, and clinical teams to guarantee orders are fulfilled efficiently within SLAs.
  • Support the streamlining of day‑to‑day operations to reduce dispatch times while maintaining patient safety.
  • Identify and report near misses, clinical errors, or discrepancies to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to dispensers in training.
  • Assist with audit preparation and participate in internal or regulatory inspections.
  • Assume Responsible Pharmacist duties when required in the absence of senior pharmacists.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications & Registration:

  • GPhC‑registered Pharmacist (essential).

Experience:

  • Experience in community, distance‑selling or digital pharmacy settings is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with GLP‑1 medications and weight‑management treatments is a bonus.
