Role overview

We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist who is focused on clinical governance, protocols, audits, and clinical content within a digital healthcare setting. Works closely with senior clinical leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain safe, compliant online services in line with regulation.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and maintain clinical protocols, pathways, and SOPs for online services
  • Support and deliver clinical audit programmes, including data review, findings, and improvement actions
  • Contribute to incident reviews, risk assessments, and quality improvement activity
  • Create, review, and update clinical content used across the platform, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness for digital care
  • Provide clinical governance input to operational, product, and prescriber teams
  • Support regulatory readiness and ongoing compliance with GPhC and wider healthcare standards
  • Identify emerging clinical risks in digital care and support proportionate mitigation strategies

Person specification

  • GPhC-registered pharmacist
  • Previous experience in online or digital health (essential)
  • Experience in clinical governance within digital healthcare (desirable)
  • Experience developing or implementing clinical guidelines or protocols (desirable)
  • Strong IT skills and working with digital systems>
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote or hybrid team

Salary: £55,000 – £58,000 + Bonus
