We specialise in creating technology solutions at the intersection of data, AI, machine learning, data engineering, and software engineering. Our mission is to help enterprises, technology companies, and governments better connect with and understand their organisations, their people, their customers, and citizens.

About the role: We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our close-knit team of experts in the UK to help deliver our client engagements as we scale our UK business. Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑led solutions for enterprise clients, focusing on high‑quality outcomes and measurable business value.
  • Provide product management expertise within the team, leading the work that Simple Machines engineering teams do and providing advice to client stakeholders on how to build great products.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, including discovery, development, release, and post‑deployment evaluation using data and feedback loops.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage complex technology projects that enable clients to build innovative products and solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on requirements, develop solutions, and drive key milestones.
  • Deliver a valuable product to our clients by helping them to realise and measure the benefit of the solutions the team are building.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing advisory expertise and helping to enhance Simple Machines' reputation with the client and in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a refined understanding of modern software development — including technologies, frameworks, methods, and common challenges.
  • Bring client‑facing experience in technology consulting or a B2B software product company, whether as a consultant, sales engineer, or product professional collaborating with client teams.
  • Have hands‑on expertise across the product lifecycle, with experience across design, analysis, build, test and release phases.
  • Communicate and influence effectively, tailoring information to different audiences and levels across the business in both written and verbal forms.
  • Stay curious about technology and data trends, applying best practices to your work and driving continuous improvement for the team.
  • Build relationships naturally, thriving in dynamic teams and new situations.
  • Take a proactive approach to delivery, knowing how to prioritise, move work forward, and influence others to achieve outcomes.
  • Are ambitious and growth‑driven, excited by the opportunity to be part of a small, experienced team helping grow Simple Machines UK.
  • Have experience with data‑led decisioning products or machine‑learning algorithms for business decisioning – this is preferred but not essential.
