Simple Machines is a leading independent boutique technology firm with a global footprint across London, Sydney and New Zealand. We operate at the intersection of data, AI, machine learning, data engineering, and software engineering—building bespoke platforms and products that turn complex data into real-world outcomes. We work with enterprises, technology companies, and governments to help them better understand their organisations, customers, and citizens. Our teams design and build large-scale data platforms, intelligent systems, and high-impact software products.
The role provides operational discipline, financial transparency, and governance support across the Simple Machines-delivered scope, enabling delivery and technical leadership to stay focused on outcomes, quality, and pace. This is a hybrid programme operations role combining financial tracking, governance coordination, and targeted business analysis support. It is not an end-to-end delivery or programme management role.
Purpose of the Role
- Provide a single, trusted operational and financial view for clients of Simple Machines
- Ensure decisions, commitments, and dependencies are clearly captured, tracked, and closed
- Strengthen governance, reporting, and follow-through without adding delivery overhead
Reporting Line
Reports into and coordinates closely with directors, enabling them to focus on product maturity, delivery execution, technical leadership, and cross-tribe accountability.

- Ensure meetings consistently translate into clear actions, owners, and timelines
- Support consistent ways of working, templates, and reporting across the programme
Benefits
