Simple Green Energy is expanding its installation team and we are actively seeking NVQ-qualified Cavity Wall Insulation Installers to support our growing nationwide projects. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant NVQ (or equivalent) in insulation and building treatments and demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent workmanship, and a commitment to delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality installations. This role involves travelling to various properties across England and Wales, completing installations under government-funded schemes such as ECO4 and GBIS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install cavity wall insulation in line with NVQ standards, industry regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Operate insulation blowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out pre-installation checks, including wall suitability, ventilation requirements, and risk assessments.
  • Drill, fill, and make good external walls with a clean, professional finish.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, including use of PPE and adherence to site protocols.
  • Ensure all documentation, digital forms, and evidence photos (including geotagging) are completed accurately.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, surveyors, and team members to ensure smooth project workflow.
  • Travel to various locations based on the installation schedule.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 in Insulation and Building Treatments (Cavity Wall Insulation) – highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in cavity wall insulation, construction, or related trades.
  • Competent with power tools, insulation machinery, and safe drilling practices.
  • Physically fit, comfortable working at height and outdoors.
  • Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and high-quality standards.
  • A Full UK driving licence is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide when required.
