Role Description
The Apprentice Sales and Customer Service role is a full-time, on-site position based in Milford Haven. The apprentice will support the sales and customer service team by handling customer enquiries, processing orders, and providing product information and guidance. Day-to-day tasks include responding to phone and email queries, assisting with quotations, maintaining customer records, and helping to resolve issues promptly and professionally. The role also involves learning sales techniques, supporting the promotion of Simon Safety’s products and services, and contributing to a positive customer experience. The apprentice will receive on-the-job training and development to build skills in sales, customer service, and product knowledge within the safety equipment industry.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Interest in developing Sales skills, including basic Sales Management and support for sales activities.
- Willingness to participate in Training and continuous learning to build industry and product knowledge.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with email, spreadsheets, and customer databases.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work well in a team and follow guidance from supervisors.
- GCSEs or equivalent school qualifications; prior experience in retail, sales, or customer service is beneficial but not essential.
