Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-performing student accommodation residence in London. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, delivering an exceptional resident experience, and driving occupancy and commercial performance. Working within the PBSA sector, you will take full ownership of the building, ensuring operational excellence, strong team leadership, and a customer-first approach across all touchpoints.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the residence
- Drive occupancy, retention and revenue performance
- Deliver a high-quality resident experience and customer service standards
- Manage, coach and develop onsite team members
- Oversee budgets, financial performance and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Handle resident queries, feedback and escalations effectively
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners
