We are recruiting a Temporary Maintenance Operative to support a busy student accommodation site in Glasgow. This is a hands-on role supporting general repairs and day-to-day upkeep, helping to keep the property safe, tidy and fully operational.
The role:
- Carry out day-to-day repairs and minor maintenance tasks
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical and joinery tasks (within skillset)
- Maintain strong health & safety standards across the property
- Support the on-site team with setup tasks and occasional urgent works
Skills & experience:
- Previous maintenance, caretaker or handyman experience is essential
- Confident using basic tools and completing general repairs independently
- Reliable, proactive and able to work on your own initiative
- Health & safety aware with a customer-focused approach
- Available for an immediate start and short-term assignment
