We’re recruiting a Temporary Maintenance Operative to support a busy student accommodation site in Ealing (W5). Working 3 days per week, you’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day repairs and general maintenance, helping to keep the building safe, compliant and fully operational. This is an immediate start temporary role, ideal for an experienced maintenance operative or handyman who can work independently and take ownership of tasks on site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and minor maintenance works
  • Respond promptly to reactive maintenance tasks
  • Undertake basic plumbing, electrical and joinery duties (within skillset)
  • Ensure health & safety standards are met at all times
  • Support site staff with room set-ups and emergency works

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous maintenance or handyman experience is essential
  • Confident using basic tools and maintenance equipment
  • Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong awareness of health & safety requirements
  • Customer-focused approach when working on site
  • Available for an immediate start
