We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join us on a 12-month FTC basis. You will support the development and delivery of internal communications plans, with a particular focus on maximising key channels, developing best practices and processes for distribution, and supporting content management to deliver at pace with measurable impact. This includes working as part of a broader, international team responsible for developing and delivering overarching internal communications to promote our strategic programs, drive our people agenda and raise awareness and engagement.
You have a passion for communications, with the ability to write and create content and messaging that aligns with our brand and culture. You are adept at building relationships and leveraging them to deliver impactful, meaningful communications, working globally and across many teams.
How You Will Create Impact- Global internal communications: Support the Senior Manager in the development and delivery of our internal communications strategy alongside ongoing regular activities. Schedule and craft internal communications that are clear, concise and compelling, and align with our global strategy. Plan, execute and monitor internal communications campaigns for our strategic programs and across our global functions, including HR, Legal & Compliance, ESG and DEI across all channels, working closely with our creative teams.
- Channel management and governance: Own, develop and manage the internal communications content on our SharePoint site and through our email automation tool, working with key stakeholders across our business and regions. Maintain a coordinated communications calendar to manage timing, frequency, and prioritization across global initiatives. Measure and report internal comms performance to ensure communications are targeted and relevant and make recommendations based on metrics. Work with relevant teams to improve channel mix, targeting and infrastructure, to improve our employees' internal comms experience. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the firm to help drive cultural change.
- Collaboration and cultural engagement: Work closely with HR, DEI, and leadership teams to promote Simon-Kucher's culture, values, and employee experience. Support alignment between internal and external communications, ensuring consistency in how the firm communicates its purpose and brand. Support change management communications as required, helping to embed new initiatives and behaviours effectively across the organization.
- Team contribution: Understand and prioritise key expectations set for the team. Provide feedback on improvements and development opportunities that could enhance continuous growth and high‐quality delivery of our comms. Recommend resources and improvements to help manage workloads effectively as appropriate. Foster collaboration across the broader marketing and communications community, encouraging knowledge sharing and alignment on best practices. Support a culture of openness, accountability, and innovation within the team.
- Ability to work both strategically and pragmatically, writing and producing content that works in different geographies and cultures.
- Experience in the effective use of SharePoint and internal communications systems, e.g. email automation, inc. ChatGPT as appropriate to communicate with our people.
- A strong communicator fluent in English and able to write compelling copy.
- A background within professional services preferred however not essential.
- Experience with B2B communications essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience in building relationships across different teams and collaborating for the best results.
- Ability to create effective communications, including developing appropriate internal communications and creative assets.
