We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, or Solution Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Waterloo, London. This role sits at the intersection of advanced machine learning and robust software engineering, focusing on deploying industrial-grade applications (such as fraud detection and predictive maintenance) across key sectors for an Enterprise AI client.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning algorithms and software solutions.
- Analyse, cleanse, and normalise complex time-series data and dynamical systems.
- Collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver robust data structures and algorithms.
What We Are Looking For
- Data Science & ML: Solid understanding of common ML techniques, trade-offs, and scalable ML architecture (MapReduce, streaming).
- Data Expertise: Experience with time-series data, dynamical systems, and both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Cloud & DevOps: Proven experience deploying software to AWS, GCP, or Azure, utilizing Git for version control.
- Industry Experience: Domain expertise in sectors such as Financial Services, Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing, Healthcare, or Supply Chain is highly desirable.
- Evidence of Capability: A strong portfolio of past projects (GitHub, published papers, etc.).
