Business Intelligence Engineer – London 12-month contract – Hybrid BI ENGINEER – AWS & Quicksight with strong SQL We’re looking to hire an experienced BI Engineer for a long-term contract with a Global Big Four partner of ours. The role will be working for a growing part of the business and this role will play a critical role in their development. You’ll be transforming data, solving complex problems and you’ll need to have strong technical and analytical skills. You’ll enjoy deep diving into large datasets, develop complex queries and use metrics to drive performance. You’ll be able to design, implement and support datasets. Design develop and build automated dashboards. Work with clients to develop roadmaps and deal with ad-hoc items. Key skills: Analysing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. Data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Analytics visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Quicksight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) Statistical methods (t-test, Chi-squared) Data Modelling and Data Pipeline design SQL The ideal candidate will have a background in Retail/Groceries and have experience working with APAC, the role will involve flexibility, and you’ll need be able to work a few days on shift staring at 7:30/8am to support the APAC regions. If you have experience with statistical analysis and co-relation analysis, this would be a huge positive. If you have the above skills and are looking for a long-term interesting contract, this will be a role that offers both and it’s working with a Big Four, so there will be plenty of opportunities for future projects and extensions.
