Simon Harrison Ltd is one of the UKβs leading fashion jewellery design and manufacturing companies. For 40 years, the company has specialised in building successful jewellery ranges for many of the UKβs best-known fashion brands, currently including Ted Baker, REISS and Karen Millen. From our premises in London, our team of designers, jewellery craftsmen and commercial managers provide clients with a comprehensive service. This includes range planning, design, product development and manufacturing through to international wholesale distribution, media communications, in-store sales support and retail merchandising.
This is an exciting and hands-on role, reporting to the Finance Manager, supporting across multiple departments. The successful candidate will combine strong numerical and analytical skills, with practical insight into how effective businesses and teams function. The role will consist of preparing monthly management accounts and managing cash flow. It will include information gathering and analysis to explore scenarios that will optimise resources and achieve business goals. Clarity of focus and an ability to communicate complex issues in simple terms are essential. This is a pivotal role in a busy creative environment which requires multitasking and a keenness to get on well with colleagues and all trading partners. Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
- Guidance and support of finance assistant - responsible for sales, purchase and cash ledger maintenance
- Management of business cash flow forecast
- Continuous data analysis and calculations - Focused on achieving business goals
- Researching and exploring scenarios for optimum business performance
- Provide accurate and timely information in a clear and understandable format
- Offer tactical adjustments to ensure the team is on track with sales and profit forecasts
