To work as part of the property team and undertake maintenance work as directed by the line manager to ensure Simon Community Properties safely and as effectively as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance across Simon Community NI sites.
  • Carry out painting and decorating work as required.
  • Carry out urgent and planned works as identified by the line manager.
  • If required, carry out general administrative duties to support the Property Team.
  • Assist staff in identifying and reporting repairs as required and liaise withService/Project Managers.
  • Act as point of contact for the Property Team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a maintenance/repairs role.
  • Experience in varied painting/decorating works.
  • Experience of working unsupervised.
  • Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Full UK Driving Licence with insurance valid for business use and access to a suitable vehicle (if a disability prevents driving, access to a means of transport to enable the duties of the post to be carried out in full)
