A highly successful and renowned leading brand car dealership Simon Bailes Ltd. have an excellent opportunity for an experienced painter to work at our quality accredited Accident Repair Centre in Northallerton. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience of working on all stages of body repair. Experience in MET is desirable, and ATA certification is preferred, or you must be willing to go through the process. Light mechanical experience is preferred.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Paintwork on accident damage and corrosion repairs, new vehicle painting, vehicle component painting and refurbishment
  • Removing old paintwork, sealant, and corrosion, cleaning the repair area, and masking off other parts
  • Priming and spray painting, colour tinting and matching as necessary
  • Sealing and rustproofing.

About The Candidate:

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a bodyshop painting role.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision

In Return:

  • Salary and bonus in line with experience.
  • 39 hours per week
  • Business Hours: Mon to Fri (39 hours p/week) Early finish at 4pm Friday
